Learn About Horses And Pet Behaviour In Pets

EA UK has posted a new feature on their The Sims 3 Facebook page focusing on horse care, riding, equestrian centres and pet behaviour in The Sims 3 Pets:
Riding a horse is a great new way to travel, but unlike Sims they cannot travel everywhere. Horses are not able to walk up or down stairs, use the elevators, or walk through doors. If a Sim riding a horse is commanded to go to a location that they cannot travel to, the horse will route to the furthest location they possibly can and the Sims will dismount and continue towards the destination.

EA has released a new The Sims 3 Pets trailer in which the producers talk about some of the features. It’s mostly about the PC version with the console bits clearly marked, so it’s well worth a watch:

EA has released seven new The Sims 3 Pets screenshots, showing such things as a kid in a cowboy costume playing with his dog, a girl going horse riding in the proper horse riding gear, a boy fishing with his dog by his side, a horse stables, and more.

EA UK Posts A Look At Baby Pets, Minor Animals And Birds In Pets

EA UK has posted a look at baby pets (including breeding), minor animals, and birds in The Sims 3 Pets on their The Sims 3 Facebook page. Well I assume it’s about The Sims 3 Pets anyway, as it doesn’t actually say:
A young foal is already a pretty big pet, but don’t be fooled – they need as much care as anyone to become a well raised horse. Foals are very social creatures and don’t like being alone. Keep them together with their mother, be it in the same box stall or out roaming around with each other. Make sure to let them nurse from their mom, or feed them from a bottle to ensure they get the nutrients they need.
