See Jessica Mauboy Record “Saturday Night” For Late Night Soundtrack In Full

It doesn’t look like we’re going to get any music videos to promote The Sims 3 Late Night, but I’ve got what’s probably the next best thing for you. You may remember the videos featuring clips of Jessica Mauboy recording her song “Saturday Night” for the soundtrack for Late Night and The Sims 3 on console, interspersed with her discussing the experience. Well now EA has released a video showing her recording the song in full:
Latest Late Night Reviews: IncGamers

Two whole weeks after I posted about the last The Sims 3 Late Night review, I finally have another one for you – IncGamers rated it 8.0 out of 10:
Another solid expansion for The Sims 3 that, while not changing any fundamental aspects of the game, provides yet more charming ways for your little computer people to fail or succeed in their virtual lives.
> The Sims 3 Late Night review at IncGamers
The Metascore from Metacritic remains at 74, now based on 11 reviews, while The Ranking from GameRankings is still based on just three reviews (so remains at 81.00%).
> The Sims 3 Late Night at Metacritic
> The Sims 3 Late Night at GameRankings
If you’re wondering why I still haven’t wrapped up my reviews coverage, it’s because there’s not enough reviews on GameRankings for me to be able to fairly compare The Ranking with those attained by previous expansion packs yet, and GameSpot (one of the biggest gaming websites) has still not posted a review, which surely they’re going to do considering the number of previews they did, right?
New The Sims 3 Game Update Stops Drink Trays Sticking To Hands, More

EA has released a new game update for The Sims 3, fixing lots of bugs, mainly affecting Late Night. Here’s a choice few:
Late Night Updates
- Hot tubs can now be placed on the balconies of high rise buildings by using the moveobjectson true cheat.
- Vampires now receive the “Slept like the Dead” moodlet after sleeping in the Altar Bed.
- Crying babies will now prompt Sims to leave a hot tub and tend to the baby.
[...]
Base Game Updates
- The tray of drinks will no longer become stuck to a Sim’s hand when performing the “Make Drinks” interaction on regular bars.
- Wall tops are no longer invisible when building on an empty lot on PCs with ATI video cards.
You should be prompted to get the update when you next open the launcher – but make sure you follow the all-important checklist first! Latest Late Night Reviews: EL33TONLINE

One further The Sims 3 Late Night review for you tonight, this one from EL33TONLINE, who gave “Night Life” (as they call it throughout) a “Good!” three stars out of five:
Yes, we have another Sims expansion that adds less to the game than previous iterations, but is still fun to play. By now the amount of content is getting so much that you probably won’t use half of it. But then a true Sims fan will never have enough, and EA will be ready to provide us with our next fix.

Latest Late Night Reviews: Game Chronicles

I bring you one new The Sims 3 Late Night review tonight, this one courtesy of Game Chronicles, who rated it 8.3 out of 10:
To be perfectly frank, I’m annoyed by the separation between urban and suburban neighborhoods because it doesn’t make sense in real-world terms and isn’t consistent with the add-on nature of an expansion. Barring that, however, Late Night is a solid expansion that builds upon the complexity that makes the Sims series so enjoyable and is a worthwhile addition to any Sims fan’s collection.

Both the Metascore from Metacritic and The Ranking from GameRankings have gone up a point since last time, with the former now at 74 (“Mixed or average reviews”), based on nine reviews, while the latter is now 81.00%, based on three reviews.

Latest Late Night Reviews: GameZone, NZGamer.com

Two new The Sims 3 Late Night reviews for you tonight, starting with GameZone, which gave it seven out of 10:
Overlooking the fact you might have to start from scratch, there is a ton of content to ensure your time spent with the Sims will borderline on the obsessive. The celebrity, rock star and vampire aspects change up the gameplay enough to keep it fresh even for those who have dedicated an unhealthy amount of hours to the game.

The other one is from NZGamer.com, which gave it 8.5 out of 10, a score described as “Great”:
And like all great Sims expansion packs, once you’ve finished thrashing out all the new features, the real prize lies in discovering all the new and weird ways in which the changes ripple out through the rest of the game.
> The Sims 3 Late Night review at NZGamer.com
The Metascore from Metacritic remains at 73 (“Mixed or average reviews”), but now based on seven reviews, while The Ranking from GameRankings has gone up to 80.00%, based on two reviews.

Latest Late Night Reviews: StrategyInformer

StrategyInformer provides today’s The Sims 3 Late Night review, giving it 8.5 out of 10:
It’s a welcome addition the Sims 3 family and one that’s executed to the high standards that we’ve come to expect. A must buy for fans of the series, but it’ll do little for convincing sceptics. Then again, Late Night wasn’t built for the naysayers; it was built for those that enjoy crafting imaginary lives.

Metacritic finally has enough reviews to give a Metascore - 73 based on four reviews. The Ranking from GameRankings remains at 75.00% based on one review.
