If you are intrigued by the idea of moving a kitchen onto a patio, or if you believe that you can never have too many hot tubs, then this pack will be worth its asking price. Most will find there’s more fluff here than “stuff.”

To wrap it up, I am sure no matter what I say the hardcore Sims-fans out there will be picking this one up. Though I just cannot help feel that the cons outweigh the pros. When you compare the amount of items you get, to the price of the actual pack (along with no signs of new interactions) it just does not seem worth it. Sure, you get to pimp out your backyard, but the question remains – will you?

EA has posted another new The Sims 3 Outdoor Living Stuff screenshot on Facebook, this one showing a Sim watching two other Sims relax in a hot tub.

EA has posted the “launch trailer” for The Sims 3 Outdoor Living Stuff:

EA has played another game of “Unlock the Photo” on their The Sims 3 Facebook page, and the result is another new The Sims 3 Outdoor Living Stuff screenshot. This one shows Sims barbecuing and eating the resulting food, while some other Sims relax in a hot tub. Click below to view it.

Three new The Sims 3 Outdoor Living Stuff screenshots have been posted on the UK The Sims 3 Facebook page, showing a fancy new hot tub, a fireplace, an outdoor kitchen and a TV. Go to the album on Facebook to view them:

After playing “unlock the photo” with its Facebook followers (in which a ridiculous number of people (in this case 7000) have to “like” an incomplete photo before they’ll post the whole thing), EA has posted the first screenshot of The Sims 3 Outdoor Living Stuff. It shows someone painting, and another three Sims relaxing, two of them together. Click below to view it.

EA has now announced the next stuff pack as The Sims 3 Outdoor Living Stuff, confirming the product previously spotted on Amazon.com. The logo is on the right. The description and features given in the announcement and on the dedicated page are pretty much the same as they were on Amazon.com when I quoted it the Saturday before last. The release date previously (and still) given by Amazon.com (1st February) has not been confirmed. Go to the dedicated page at TheSims3.com for a couple of renders and the box art.

What’s likely to be the next stuff pack for The Sims 3 has been spotted on the website of US retailer Amazon.com: “Outdoor Living Stuff”. Here’s the description given:

For the first time ever, your Sims can get the best in outdoor luxury for their homes. Whether they’re decorating the perfect patio, setting the mood with a new hot tub, or firing up a state-of-the-art grill for the ultimate BBQ, your Sims’ outdoor decor is getting a boost.

…and the product features:

• Build the perfect al fresco setting for your Sims with stylish furnishings, outdoor electronics, and cozy fire pits and fireplaces.
• Give your Sims several uniquely styled hot tubs where they can relax with friends or get romantic with someone special.
• Turn up the heat with an all-new built-in countertop grill as part of your Sims’ outdoor kitchen and take their cooking to a whole new level.
• Choose from two new styles. ?Garden Terrace? features elegant wrought-iron pieces, while ?Sunset on the Veranda? embraces the warmth of outdoors.

It says it will be released on 1st February.
