If you’d prefer to receive just the news, every day I post some, you may prefer to subscribe to my news by email service.

To make sure you receive each issue, it would be a good idea to add newsemail@dannysthesims.co.uk to your contacts or safe sender list.

You can unsubscribe to the News Email at any time by going to the account manager, which is linked to at the bottom of every email you receive from Aardvark Mailing List (providers of the mailing list service). Your email address will only be used to send out the News Email and provide you with your account manager log in information – Aardvark Mailing List doesn’t even allow me to see your whole email address!

    1. Danny:

This isn’t the right place to be asking this – only comments on the News Email should be posted here – it would have been more appropriate to contact me through the Contact Me section instead. However, I will answer your question on this occasion: You can see if your computer can run The Sims 2 by running YouGamer’s Game-o-Meter - the results should apply to Double Deluxe too (if you meant The Sims 1, your computer would have to be pretty dreadful to not be able to play that. There’s no checker for The Sims 1, but you could still try the one for The Sims 2 – if it’ll play that, it’ll have no trouble playing The Sims 1! If not, I can’t really help you without knowing the specifications of your PC – feel free to contact me quoting what the Game-o-Meter says). If it says you can run it, I’d suggest looking in one of EA’s support centres (links to which can be found on the Links page) to see if it mentions the issue there and contacting EA using the links there if not.
